A moment of absolute psychophysical drift. An immersion in a colourful sonic ambience that recalls twentieth-century artists’s works particularly focused on the relationship between human body and architectural space (Dan Flavin, Le Corbusier, Anish Kapoor, Maurice Agis, Verner Panton, Marian Zazeela, James Turrell to list just a few of them).
Thanks to digital techniques their works are moved from the original place, rehandled, manipulated and offered to the audience in the shape of light and sound furnishing. A different dimension that combines contemplative fruition of ambiences with seventies style visionaryness.

With the contribute of architect and media artist Alessandra Zucchi, DreamIconSkyModulorSpace (DISMS) offers a more immersive esperience thanks to a long time research in live video manipulation and the different ways it can come into interaction with live sound.
Color and light are the key concepts used to organize this visual contribute, which explores the use of artworks that represent the relationship between form, surface, and meaning and brings them to an unusual perceptive dimension gaining the illusion of a three-dimensional experience.

Technical rider

Fades live + DISMS set involves 2 performers with laptop, one for video, another for audio generation. Both are executed live and in real time, a dark and quiet space is requested.
Projection screen has to be visible from the video workstation and should be wider as possible. Minor arrangements can be set to offer a central listening position depending on location.

Un momento di assoluta deriva psicofisica. Un'immersione in un ambiente sonoro e cromatico che richiama (citandole) le opere di artisti del ‘900 particolarmente attenti alla dimensione relazionale tra corpo umano e spazio architettonico (Dan Flavin, Le Corbusier, Anish Kapoor, Maurice Agis, Verner Panton, Marian Zazeela, James Turrell per elencarne solo alcuni). Grazie alle tecniche digitali i loro lavori vengono allontanati dalla collocazione originaria, reinterpretati, manipolati e offerti al pubblico in veste di arredo luminoso. Una dimensione altra che coniuga la fruizione contemplativa degli ambienti con la visionarietà degli anni settanta.

Eseguito dal vivo e in tempo reale. DreamIconskyModulorSpace è stato concepito per durate prolungate, multi-proiezione e diffusione sonora in quadrifonia con il pubblico in posizione comoda e centrale per offrire un'esperienza immersiva maggiore. Nondimeno può essere presentato in versione ridotta e adattato alle necessità del VJ set.

La proiezione deve essere visibile dalla postazione video e coprire la superficie più ampia possibile. In caso di multi-proiezione si richiede video splitter o video wall con ingresso VGA
